Sliming Corporate Brands

September 11th, 2005 · No Comments

Here’s a site asking for a lawsuit. The artists/authors of Libelous Claims about Large Corporations offer up bogus claims about big brand names, very few of them complimentary.

Of course, legal action against such a site would link your brand and the "libelous claim" about it in the public’s mind. A no-win situation.

Plus, the claims are often so outrageous that no one would believe them. For example, the entry about Halliburton: "Halliburton is a nice company that has never been involved in any corrupt practices."

Some of my favourites:

Gatorade; Hasbro; Aflac, Geico and Starkist;

Warning: the artwork is even less polished than South Park.

Thanks to Andy Lark for the link.
